This was an incredibly sad movie. Everything felt like it was going in the right way just for it to ultimately collapse by the ending. The music, the color grading, the cinematography and the characters were really good. The only problem was that pacing was a bit off for me and the abrupt ending caught me off guard.Overall, this was a really really good movie. I'm glad that I caught it during its limited screening.
It doesn't get there at the end. Maybe a bit meta that the writing itself (by Damilola Orimogunje himself) to "punish" the freespirit sister is quite heavyhanded.
