The world will know the name Bob Lawrence.I was a coward when I gave Fateful Findings a .5/5, this here is pure auteur masterwork. There is nothing else like a Breen movie. No notes, because any notes would be attempting to make it more like a “normal movie” and therefore worse. Breen’s complete disregard for (or perhaps unawareness of) what is “right” is the fire that makes his movies burn so bright. His undeniable passion to keep making these things is nothing short of admirable. He’s a force of nature, just a different nature that doesn’t operate by our laws of physics. Most I’ve laughed in a theater in a long time, genuine love fills my heart for Dire Duplicity.
