A church group's annual retreat turns deadly when they wander into the wrong part of the Ozark wilderness, and something starts picking them off one by one. Suspicion falls on Ricky, the troublemaker of the group. But the real threat is far worse. Deep in the forest, wrapped in a labyrinth of webs, the group is pursued by a terrifying prehistoric arachnid that hunts by vibration. When every step could be their last, they only have one choice: Don't Move. It's up to Megan to hold what's left of the group together and get them out alive.

I’m surprised how much I enjoyed this. My wife read the book, so as soon as it was announced I knew we’d be seeing it. We’re also fans of James Murray and the whole Impractical Jokers crew, so already somewhat bias going in hoping for the best. It had its flaws and a few eye roll moments, but good practical effects and the entire cast was great with the clear standout being Lyndsy Fonseca. I’d love to see her do more horror.
As a horror comedy creature feature and not knowing much about this movie except for the fact that Murray from Impractical Jokers (love the show) was one of the writers I tempered my expectations, however they were actually met which I'm happy about. The humor was serviceable enough and the horror elements when shown was decent, just wish we got more scenes of the giant spider itself. Still overall not too bad of a watch and one you can check out whenever it hits streaming.Theaters
