35Messy, scattered, amateurish documentary about the great Catherine Colson. Maybe I'm being too harsh on this but the non-linear editing and 2 hour runtime made for quite a sit. Nonstop talking heads all saying the same thing. Some interesting details, especially regarding the logistics of her final screen appearance in The Return, but otherwise not all that competent.

I Know Catherine, The Log Lady is worth watching just to learn more about Catherine Coulson’s story, and it’s especially meaningful for Twin Peaks fans. But I have to be honest—the documentary’s structure undermines the emotional weight of her story. It jumps between time periods and different people's perspectives in such a disjointed way, and the editing gave me a headache.
