did this cameo for romain coz i’m addicted to satire and metatextual commentary and when an old friend hits you up for a favor you gotta pull through especially when he’s obvz a visionary. i’ve loved romain’s work from the start (A Cross The Universe kinda one of my all time favorite films i think?) so it was cool to watch this for the first time on a big screen at Tiff sat next to my baby bro jonatan “yung lean” leandoer (obsessed that he chose to be credited this way). having performed at a fair few obnoxious charity galas in my time i can say with confidence that the vibes were captured perfectly. chris evans commitssss, anya is ferocious and obviously there are plenty of gorgeous explosions but to be honest, for me it’s all about Salma smoking a cig looking disheveled and fabulous on top of a piano singing one of my most fav songs ever. what can i say, she gets it. basically i adore this film and it was cool to be a tiny part of it. special mention to the bonkers q&a that happened afterwards and to vincent cassel who’s aura points are off the chart.
