Ok the movie itself was cute and fine but what absolutely pissed me off was the fucking advertisement that angel studios put in the end credits for their tie-in ai app that turns kids drawings into shitty ai animations, then they proceeded to show off those animations throughout the rest of the end credits. Like, maybe I’m crazy and it’s not ai but even still, putting a commercial like that in your credits sequence is just really fucking crass. Only saw this movie cuz a friend of mine really loved it and said it would be the perfect backup movie if the screen unseen wasn’t something I had initially wanted to watch, lmao he’s apologizing to me about all this now, he had done the right thing and left as soon as the credits started, lmaoooo. Anyways I could’ve seen something else today but instead I saw this and now I feel pranked. Go see East of Wall cuz that probably was a great film that I should’ve given a fair shot. Don’t go supporting anything Angel studios puts out. Even when the movie’s good, they’re doing something really scummy with it that makes supporting it feel gross.
