What!?! This movie looks so good and it's disturbing. I feel that this is a slept on horror film cause it has a lot of fun eighties horror elements and creates some unique spaces to develop them in. It utilizes this mid size university town that is plagued with murders all the while that there is a shadowy laboratory using school students as guinea pigs for an unknown study, only knowing that they can control a chickens brain from a dead professors guidance via video. Don't worry your alarm bells are going off earlier than this point of the story but it definitely keeps you in check. I have to say with the visuals and cinematic beauty for me out way some of the poor narrative plot holes and should be enjoyed so cause it really looks fantastic. I rarely put visuals before story but I do have to say so here and that's not saying it lacks structure, It just lacks some cohesion and sometimes that can go to the wayside when we are watching a horror movie;)
