Carrie Coon.
Ari Aster, you could be owed a lot of compensation money
THE LIBERATION is an incredibly heavy and dark film about a Holocaust survivor who abandons her family to join an all-female cult led by a seductive Lily James. Carrie Coon is an absolute beast of an actor, tapping into some really complex and weighty emotions to deliver a performance that grips and pulls you through this woman’s somber journey. Guy Nattiv’s latest is very personal and dramatic with a strong supporting performance from Bella Ramsey but is probably too much of a downer for its own good.Check out Daniel Howat’s full review on NextBestPicture.com here
