What does it mean to be a cog in the military industrial complex?Is a weapons factory the same as a beer brewery?In this documentary we follow a worker as he makes sure one of the factories of ΠΥΡΚΑΛ a greek ammunition company that supplied both sides in the spanish civil war, and many other wars will be deserted safely to be given to Greek Oil company. We here his and others' stories about unionizing, about spending a life there and about the congitive dissonance between the worker and the product. Fascinating albeit maybe a bit too soft. One of the film makers was with us for a discussion afterwards, and it is always nice to be able to do that. Watch it if you have the time.
