Titans was an attempt to transplant a concept the kind often seen in certain foreign films into the context of Kerala. I feel that this effort, or this idea, deserves to be appreciated. Despite all this, looking at the film as a whole, this unique concept failed to make the kind of impact it should have; it felt like the script could have been better. While there were a few amusing comedic moments, much of the rest felt quite flat to me. The script itself is the main problem. A significant drawback is the lack of a strong emotional attachment to the film or its characters. The truth is that, despite having such a fresh and unique concept, the script failed to deliver it in a way that would create a meaningful impact on the audience. Jayasurya was good in his performance, but I didn't feel the character was substantial enough. It’s the kind of role that reminds one of his characters from the past; furthermore, it’s hard to really develop any strong affinity for this character. But personally, I liked Vinayakan even more than that character. He is the true hero, or rather, the show-stealer of this film. It was a fantastic performance; the character was one that really resonated with the audience. That was the only element that stood out; everything else was just meh. A character like that deserves a film with a truly solid script. The first half was really nice; the comedy was genuinely funny and kept things entertaining. The concept involving Indrans's character, specifically the bit about him having an office, was a great idea. Also, the interval block was quite enjoyable. There is no spoon-feeding; the film gets straight to the point, which is a positive aspect. It isn't overly long, and there’s no sense that unnecessary elements have been stuffed in to drag it out that, too, is a positive. Overall, a promising fantasy concept that fell apart in the second half due to poor execution and ended as a half-cooked product. It is clear that both the director and the technical team possess the potential to craft an excellent film. Had the script been stronger or the execution handled a bit better, the movie could have turned out much better. The team behind the title graphics deserves a special shout-out. Honestly, the title graphics were even better than the film itself. 😄👍Theatre Visit 🎥 2026
