Ein atmosphärischer, rauer Horrorfilm.
Following an end-of-term school ceremony, the American boy Bobby decides to go with his friend Akkun into the mountains outside their village, to a place perfect for a secret base. On the way they stop into a mysterious amusement park. They have fun there, but are attacked and cannot leave. Falling in with some other children who are also lost there, they fend off a number of attacks, and gradually learn the truth behind the facility.

Holy shit. Guys, this was some next level mind trash. Distilled insanity. And in a Junji Ito-esque way, evocative and unsettling. Nothing explicitly weird happens within the first fifteen minutes, but the off-putting anti-animated paper cutout presentation instantly throws your neurological system into defense mode. Nothing feels right. The children appear normal, yet they all feel imbued by some otherworldly maleficence. Some of them speak as if imitating human language. Some have grotesque foreheads seemingly sculpted with a waffle iron. Lead fake-boys, Akkun and Bobby, both share a distinct scar on the palm of their hand; a deep gash grossly stitched shut. But it doesn't seem to bother them.Things really get weird when the two come across an isolated theme park called Violence Voyager -- how inviting! And after a brief altercation with a rottweiler from hell, and a pet mutant baboon, find themselves neck deep in a fucked up conspiracy adventure involving mutant bird boys, skinless pals, sexual violence, child harvesting, leaky anuses, and at the core of it all, a massive super-circumsized biomechanical "breast-feeding" mom-cock. You know, children's stuff. And the further along it goes the less sense it makes. The whole thing is a mind melting exercise in narrative unravel. This is Alice in Wonderland and Gozu's bastard child; Satan's bed time story. A hell-born episode of Reading Rainbow. Basically, the perfect midnight movie.Director Ujicha is now permanently on my radar, because god knows I need more shit like this.
1st Ujicha The onset of puberty as twisted as I've ever seen it, a strange mass of blood and pus and vomit in the face of unimaginable horror and the depressing fact that you can't quite ever go home again. Bobby goes through, as our deadpan narrator observes, a literal hell of scientific experiments, cybernetic fusion and hideous alkaline goo that forces him to grow up far more than he'd ever imagined. Ujicha's animation makes this assault on the body palpable, a use of prosthetic blood and gore that's shocking compared to the childlike cutouts used to animate the perverse story. That narrative is meant to disturb, to be sure, especially in its use of child nudity, but you never get the sense it is for titillation. Rather, it is about the horribly vulnerable quality of the body, especially when we are young. As a parallel to the uncontrollable, threatening changes of adulthood, Bobby's story is viscerally effective. Highly recommended.
