Aid Kid

Aid Kid (Ondra Mikula) is a Prague-based musician, producer and DJ. His self-released eponymous debut album Aid Kid got him instant recognition with the critics and the Vinyla award for Discovery of the Year. Apart from his solo work, he performs with the band nivva and Tomáš Sýkora Trio and he is part of an audiovisual collective Lunchmeat. As a composer, he is frequently working for theatre, film or with contemporary artists. His second album, Cinematographer's Journal, a found-footage documentary OST, represents a momentary twist in Aid Kid's work from club inspired tracks to sounds of piano, strings and other acoustic instruments in minimal compositions. On the third album, Collection, Aid Kid decided to finish all the unfinished tracks from the past years. Lately he established himself as a sought-after producer, working with some of the best CZ/SK artists, including Katarzia and Lenka Dusilová.
