alleykat

alleykat is a house and techno DJ and producer whose foundation in music began in 2006 with classical training in viola. Skilled in sight reading, she spent over a decade performing in orchestras and was accepted into the Orange County School of the Arts for instrumental music. She later expanded into rock, funk, and pop, playing bass in multiple bands before moving into performance art. Encouraged to explore DJing in 2019, she quickly developed her sound and earned her first residency at Proof Bar in 2020. In 2021 she joined her first national tour, and by 2022 she was performing in major nightclubs and opening for artists including BassJackers, Cheat Codes, MAKJ, Cash Cash, Laidback Luke, KLOUD, and Vinai. In 2023 she entered the underground rave circuit with high energy hard techno sets at events such as Lickndip, FEVER, AfterMidnight, and Sxtcy. As a producer, she released her debut album State of Mind in 2023 followed by Just Press Play in 2025. Her music has received radio support from Wild 94.9, iHeartRadio, and Vibe 99.7. Now based in Los Angeles, alleykat continues to build momentum across club, festival, and underground platforms with a sound that merges technical musicianship and driving dance floor energy.
