Ampacity

Ampacity is a band formed in Gdynia in 2012 by Piotr Paciorkowski, Wojciech Lacki, Jan Galbas, Sebastian Sawicz, and Marek Kostecki. In their work, they explore psychedelic rock, progressive and alternative music, and space rock. Their 2013 debut album, “Encounter One”, was widely acclaimed by fans of alternative guitar music, leading to an invitation to perform at OFF Festival and numerous other concerts in Poland and abroad. Over the following 4 years, the group released additional records (“Superluminal” in 2015, “The Sum of All Flaws” in 2016) before disbanding. In January 2023, Ampacity announced both their reunion as a four-person band and a new release, which was published by Piranha Music in March. Since their reactivation Ampacity has toured in Poland together with Dola and Entropia and played at many important festivals, such as Mystic Festival, Red Smoke Festival, Summer Dying Loud, and Blue Moon Festival in Germany. New album "Cosmic Indifference" will see the light on April 24th and will be released by Piranha Music.
