Amy Jor

Amy and her records are wrapped in a curious tale, always ending up here, there, and somewhere in between, wandering into mischief and trouble along the way... Born and rooted in the NYC underground, she blends house, minimal, electro, dub techno, & elements of jazz into a playful, evolving sound. Her artistic voice has been shaped by more than a decade of study, digging, producing, mixing, mastering, and living within New York City's underground culture. She started music production and mixing records at 15 through an internship at a NYC DJ and production school, where long afternoons in the studio and visits to Halcyon and A1 Records opened a deeper musical world. Mentors helped refine her approach to sound, and by 17 she was performing at venues such as TBA Brooklyn and Output. Her technical foundation later expanded at SAE Institute NYC, where she studied recording, mixing, and mastering. Today, while studying at Berklee, she continues to explore the layers of her musical curiosity, shaping them into a sound that feels both intricate and personal, influenced by her studies in composition, scoring, and sound design. She has appeared alongside artists including Priku, Sepp, Chklte, Cristian AB, O.bee, Sweely, Acid Pauli, Guy J, Tinlicker, and Liquid Earth. Her sound has reached many corners of the scene, from ReSolute and Elements Music & Arts Festival to Signal, H0L0, Good Room, Outer Heaven, Elsewhere, Members Only, and House of Yes, with new chapters on the horizon.
