An Evening At Elmwood

An Evening at Elmwood was a screamo / emo band from Perth, Australia, active from 2006 to 2009. Known for their high-energy performances, the band shared stages with iconic acts like The Used, The Offspring, Rise Against, Alexisonfire, Silverstein, The Amity Affliction and All Time Low. Their EP Can You Keep a Secret gained MySpace fame, keeping them the top unsigned artist for seven months. They performed at the Taste of Chaos Festival, Soundwave Festival and HyperFest alongside The Offspring, Alexisonfire, Incubus, Killswitch Engage, Mindless Self Indulgence, Saosin, Bleeding Through, Madina Lake, Envy On The Coast, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, Motion City Soundtrack, Thursday, City and Colour, Birds Of Tokyo, The Getaway Plan, Drop Dead, Gorgeous, Gallows and As I Lay Dying. Their second release, Learn to Breathe, featured artwork by Joe Whyte (AFI, I Killed The Prom Queen, Alkaline Trio). After supporting Silverstein and Set Your Goals on the Vans Boys of Summer tour, the band disbanded.
