Annie in the Water

Annie in the Water is an Americana indie rock band from upstate New York originally formed in 2007. What started with a guitar-based duo has evolved into powerful five-piece consisting of members Bradley Hester and Michael Lashomb (Guitars/Vocals), Chris Meier (Bass/Vocals), Joshua West (Drums/Percussion/Vocals) and Matt Richards (keyboards/synthesizers/vocals). With influences rooted in a wide range of genres, the songwriting traverses multiple soundscapes within a set. While there is an abundance of intentional lyrics, there is also a healthy serving of tasteful, exploratory improvisation that makes every trip down the river a fresh, new experience. With Annie in the Water, you are a part of something greater than yourself, working together with the forces around you and caught in the midst of a beautiful moment. Each performance is another adventure and cherished memory of movement within the free-flowing nature of the band's creativity.
