Anti Ribeiro

Anti Ribeiro is a Brazilian sound artist, visual artist and DJ from Sergipe, Brazil’s smallest state. Treating sound as a material, she bends, distorts and reshapes it through a sculptural approach. Since her previous project, roupaspreta, Anti has explored dense, mysterious and hypnotic territories shaped by her experience in soundtracks and sound art. Her first EP as Anti Ribeiro combines metallic textures, ethereal atmospheres and a strong sense of movement, balancing industrial tension with sensuality. Her work has been presented at the Venice Biennale (Italy), Serpentine Pavilion (UK), Busan Biennale (South Korea), São Paulo Biennial (Brazil), TONO Festival (Mexico), Panorama of Brazilian Art (Brazil) and AIR Festival (USA), among others.
