Antithetic

Antithetic is a melodic black metal project shaped by cold atmosphere, violent emotion, and visions of worlds beyond waking life. Drawing from the spirit of Dissection, Horna, Thulcandra, Stormruler, and Stormkeep, the band combines sharp tremolo melodies, harsh vocals, blast-driven aggression, and a sense of ancient, ritual darkness. The music of Antithetic is built around contrast: beauty and decay, dream and nightmare, sacred imagery and cosmic horror. Its lyrics move between English, Russian, and Finnish, creating a fragmented voice of despair, worship, madness, and transcendence. Rather than treating black metal only as sound, Antithetic approaches it as a gateway into myth, ruin, and inner collapse. Through releases such as Kadath, the band enters Lovecraftian dreamlands, frozen temples, forgotten gods, and visions of the unknown. Antithetic exists where melodic black metal becomes a ritual - hostile, mournful, and otherworldly.
