Born Ariel Michelle Finch in Los Angeles, the singer, dancer, songwriter, and record producer grew up surrounded by music with a bassist as a father, a dancer turned lawyer as a mom, and an aunt who is a gospel singer. Prior to her music career, ARYIEL sang in school choirs, wrote songs and took dance classes. Wanting to be a singer her entire life, she soon began recording and producing her own music while writing for others’. ARYIEL describes singing as her first love and as what she’s always known, “There has never been a time in my life when I haven’t been singing." A graduate from Howard University, ARYIEL crafts pop-R&B music, with a focus on strong vocals, experimental production, and melodies that stick with you long after the track ends. Her songs draw from life’s ups and downs, blending pop hooks with the feel of R&B. The result is music that connects emotionally, moving your heart as well as your body. She’s especially known for her presence across Los Angeles stages. As Green Tea Studios of LA put it: "She's got a really strong voice. You don't really hear that too much either. Not anymore. It's a lost art." ARYIEL's brand new single, Spit, is driven by frustration, self-respect, and resolve. Written in response to the ways Black women are often used, dismissed, and expected to stay quiet, the song pushes back against that expectation. It feels like setting a boundary after being ignored for too long—a final warning rather than a conversation.
