As Skies Divide

As Skies Divide is a Stockholm based progressive metal act that combines melodic elements with heavy riffs. With the release of Throne of Sanity in 2018, the band created their own sound, which they further developed while writing the upcoming album - Declining the Abstract. The new album also expands the conceptual themes with an abstract, yet cohesive story. Declining the Abstract is also the moment where the band not only refined their sound, but also their image to create something even more unique. The purpose of the album is to be more than music, it's also a journey. The band is influenced by Junius, Meshuggah, Cult Of Luna, TesseracT, Leprous, Maraton, Frontierer and more.
