Augustin Braud is a SACEM-award winning French composer. Mostly known for his contemporary music scores which include commissions and collaborations with Ensemble Intercontemporain, Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, Klangforum Wien and Neue Vocalsolisten Stuttgart, Braud recently expanded his practice to the electronic medium. He released Trônes Amoncelés, a 36-minutes Musique Concrète piece recorded in Luc Ferrari's studio La Muse en Circuit on the label Opal Tapes, as well as Opal Spine, a foray into experimental-ambient tones which allowed him to perform live around France and the Netherlands. Notable collaborators include LudoWic on the revamped version of Opal Spine, as well as his band Erebe, a post-progressive metal collective from western France.
