Banda AZ

Banda AZ, formally known as Banda Azpericueta, is a band put together from a legacy of family. The band's roots originate from Nayarit, Mexico, established between 1992 & 1993 in the United States in Los Angeles County. Founded by Agustin Azpericueta Sanchez Sr. in California, together with his 4 sons, they created a band of brothers that would set the foundation for many generations of musicians throughout the 90s, 2000s, and late 2010s. Over the years, Banda AZ has dedicated itself to producing their own music and performing at local venues all around Southern California for 30+ years. Banda AZ now has its second/third generation of musicians made up of one third of Agustin Sr.'s grandchildren. The new generation continues today, led by Agustin Jr. III, the eldest grandson of Agustin Sr. Still alongside 3 of the original band members, the uncles of Agustin Jr. In the present day, they continue to produce and perform in bigger venues and take on new achievements, most recently becoming the official band of NFL football team the Los Angeles Chargers. You can catch their performances at the Energy Stage on the 200 level of SoFi Stadium throughout each game.
