Belén Bandera

Belén Bandera is a singer and composer whose work moves fluidly between jazz, contemporary music, folk and conceptual creation. With her first album, Origins (2020), she attracted significant attention, receiving highly valuable reviews from both audiences and critics, and establishing herself as a distinctive and personal voice within the current music scene. BAMBOO, Nature’s Calligraphy (2023) continues the indomitable spirit of her debut: inspired by nature and biological phenomena, the album is written for voice and a 21-piece orchestral ensemble and unfolds as an immersive sonic journey. A l’ombra del lledoner (2024) is an intimate chamber gem created as a duet with guitarist Jaume Llombart. Inspired by La poétique de la rêverie by Gaston Bachelard, the project explores folk music while recovering the work of Catalan women composers historically pushed into oblivion. Nominated for the ARC Awards (Associació de Representants de Catalunya) in 2024 and 2025 –recognising her artistic trajectory and live presence–, Belén Bandera continued her artistic evolution with SYNKARDÍA (2026), her most ambitious project to date: a symphonic work inspired by the poetic and conceptual image of gestation, exploring two hearts beating within the same body, translating this powerful metaphor into sound, rhythm and collective breath.
