Bobo in White Wooden Houses is a Berlin based band that became well known in the 1990s with their indie-folk-rock sound and was part of the soundtrack of the post-reunification years for so many. The band's euphoric early phase ended tragically after the death of guitarist Frank Heise. Later, singer Bobo produced the electronic chamber pop album, ‘Cosmic Ceiling,’ with the producer team led by Moses Schneider. In 1996 Bobo recorded an album with the London Session Orchestra under the direction of british arranger Will Malone (Massive Attack, Depeche Mode, Neneh Cherry, The Verve...). Internationally, Bobo's voice has become known as the female part in Rammstein's ‘Engel’. More than three decades after their creation, Bobo in White Wooden Houses' early albums are back – available digitally for the first time.
