Boris Bond follows the call of the West Balkan mountains and the waves of Southern California. While we celebrate and love the classic surf sound and instrumental surf music is one of our biggest influences, the music of Bosnia—where one of our guitarists was born and raised—and punk (all members previously played in punk bands) are also essential parts of our musical identity. Our mission is to capture moods, play with them, and bring them to life in the mental cinema. That’s why our debut album is called Sounds of Movies Never Made (released by Surf Cookie Records, Greece). A friend once commented on our demo video: "This is the perfect music for world peace... Eastern scales and American instruments, peacefully and harmoniously in love!"
