Brittany Campbell
Brittany Campbell makes alternative R&B for people addicted to feeling too much. Raised in Flatbush, Brooklyn by a Jamaican family, Brittany Campbell grew up between dancehall sound systems, Metropolitan Opera rehearsals, and an early obsession with atmosphere, emotion, and performance. Years later, after moving through jazz circles, a pop deal with Sony, self-production, touring with Hamilton, and a relationship that would permanently reshape her creative life, Campbell emerged with a sound rooted in live soul, distorted longing, spiritual intimacy, and late-night confession. A songwriter signed to Warner Chappell Music / Facet House, Campbell has co-written music for Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies alongside Justin Tranter and collaborated with artists including Billy Porter, Grace VanderWaal, and Baby Tate. Her work has drawn praise from Billboard, NPR, Ladygunn, and Bandcamp, with Ladygunn describing her sound as “the future of soul.” Now entering the world of LMRNCE and the conceptual extension 01L4N, Campbell drifts deeper into obsession, sensuality, fantasy, devotion, and emotional mythology — creating music that feels less like something you listen to and more like someone you almost fell in love with once.
