BUZZ's sound is a reflection of the energy and emotions that defined their teenage years in modern Cyprus. Inspired by the music that shaped their adolescence, BUZZ channels the essence of youthful rebellion and freedom into their work. While Punk and Hard Rock form the foundation of their identity, the band ventures into diverse creative territories-sometimes embracing the complexity of progressive thrash metal, other times delivering poignant ballads with a socially conscious edge. Their hard rock anthems often serve as a rallying cry for their peers and not only, challenging the status quo with the anger of their generation. Their use of the Cypriot dialect is a tribute to their roots while also adding to their distinct sound. BUZZ encapsulates the spirit of teenage idealism, reminding us of the passion and drive that have fueled similar young bands throughout time. BUZZ has come far since the April of 23', starting off at small and cramped school stages, all the way to winning Fengaros High 2024, playing at the massive stage of Fengaros, opening for their local music heroes and even releasing music recorded in a professional studio. The 5 member Cypriot teenage band has certainly surpassed the expectations, building one of the most loyal teen fanbases in Cyprus and performing in various places all around Cyprus. From Downtown Nicosia to Kato Drys and Dali Amphitheater, all the way to beautiful Paphos, the sound of BUZZ has and will continue to echo through the journey.
