Call Me Franco

Radically blending multiple genres into a boiling hot psychedelic soup, Call Me Franco explore the frenzied notions of insanity, altered states and ego death within the surreal and conceptual bounds of progressive rock. Hailing from Brighton, UK, Call Me Franco is the virtuosic love-child of lynchpin guitarist Ernesto Diaz, the down-right stylistic, jazz-fusion-cool of bassist Adham Armenti and veracious, hypnotic infections of drummer Fin Anderson. Always mutating and evolving, they have released 2 EP's and 1 single since 2021. "Fabric Street" (Aug, 2022), heavily influenced by early-days Santana, combines elements of latin and rock music, while "Ante Bye" (Apr, 2023) ventures into heavier and faster realms with surfy and kraut rock nuances. Both EP's were recorded live and have their songs flow into each other with seamless transitions creating larger conceptual narratives. In October 2023, the group released their first single titled "Vildanden" . The song is an enchanting blend of psychobilly, latin fusion and fuzzed-out guitars and signifies the heavier and darker direction that the band are taking with their currently in-progress LP.
