New Yorker Carlton Jumel Smith's verb is all about loyalty and love. Unconditional fan of James Brown: from the age of eight, after attending a concert at the Apollo Theater, he devoted unlimited admiration to the Godfather of Soul and wanted to become a singer. He will then refine his vocals to the sound of Motown from his neighborhood of Spanish Harlem for years. Transmitting positive values, bringing people together, spreading love: Carlton's message cannot leave anyone indifferent and his show amazes with so much passion and mastery.
