CARSICK

Since their inception in a grimy English pub in late 2021, Salisbury-based CARSICK (brothers Joe and Jack Richardson, alongside their mates Jack Hardiman and Tom Armstrong) have steadily built a reputation as one of the UK’s most exciting and unpredictable bands. Their music - a heady mix of raw, energetic post-punk, electronic elements, and nods to the golden age of British indie - has resulted in an ever-growing cult following and garnered the attention and praise of legends such as Iggy Pop, Steve Lamacq, Tom Robinson, Gemma Bradley, and Simon Le Bon. Listed as one of Drowned In Sound’s Must-See Live Acts of 2025, the band have brought their notoriously wild live performances to every corner of the UK and across Europe, as well as festivals such as Reading & Leeds, Truck, and 2000 Trees. As an indie band comprised of four punks, they disrupt the zeitgeist and make a statement everywhere they go. CARSICK’s “anthems for the pissed-up and pissed-off” has so far taken the form of two EPs; the first ,titled ‘Drunk Hymns’, released in 2023, and the critically-acclaimed follow up (named 'Tough Luck') in 2025. With a debut album in the works, their momentum shows no sign of slowing. If the band are to be believed, this is the downfall of British music at terminal velocity. Get on board while you can.
