Underground καλλιτέχνης chamber music
“I love composing, arranging and performing music of all kind of styles, telling my own stories with elements of classical, tango, neoclassical, experimental and world music. Beyond all pigeonholes, I joyfully mix styles, expand spaces and thus create new - and hopefully deeply moving – sounds.” Corinna Soeller accomplished her piano studies at the UdK Berlin (Germany) with the highest degree. As a soloist, chamber music partner and band member, she has won numerous international prizes and performed at major festivals such as the Berliner Festwochen (Germany), Davos International Music Festival (Switzerland), Festival International de Música de Querétaro (Mexico) and WMDF Festival (Japan) alongside famous artists such as Rolando Villazón and Matthias Görne. Her portfolio ranges from the classical PerelinTrio to the Songwriter Duo HazelWood and the Tango nuevo Trio La Bicicleta. In 2011 she won the first prize at the “Concurso de Composición para piano Fidelio” and in the following years she increasingly expanded her work as a composer and arranger, both for her own ensembles and with comissioned works for chamber music ensembles, choir, stage and film. In 2020, 2021 and 2022 she was awarded grants for various arrangements and her own compositions.
Corinna Soeller plays a blend of classical, tango, neoclassical, experimental, and world music, often featuring piano and chamber ensembles.
