Cosmica Bandida

Fieras is Cosmica Bandida’s debut LP, following their first release Lágrimas Saladas. The album gathers myths and personal rituals, moving through the surreal visions of Tiburón Blanco, into the fiery sensuality of Volcán, and finally to the reimagined dembow of Pantera del amor - each track opening a different door into the Colombian-German duo’s universe. Cosmica Bandida - Manuela Illera and David Blitz - began as an exploration of noise and electronics that soon evolved into a search for rhythm and synth textures. In this new album, their songs weave psychedelic grooves coming from cumbia and electronic pulses, at times echoing italo disco, at others trap or the new wave of Latin alternative. Fieras is the result of that journey, a world of its own: bodies, shadows, and voices emerging through songs that evoke the tropics and the cosmos on the same dancefloor.
