Dakota Dry is a California based award-winning singer-songwriter. In her music, she combines raw and intimate lyricism with powerful vocals influenced by a number of genres from 60s/70’s Laurel Canyon folk to pop and r&b. She studied Vocal Music for 4 years at Oakland School for the Arts and is currently an undergraduate Ethnomusicology major at UCLA's Herb Alpert School of Music.
