Dan Owen
Dan Owen is a British singer-songwriter and guitarist from Shrewsbury, Shropshire, known for his husky, soulful voice and a sound blending blues roots with modern rock and Americana. After starting out in local pubs as a teenager — first performing with his sister and later solo as “Bluesboy Dan” — he gained wider attention in 2012 when a video of him performing Bob Dylan’s The Ballad of Hollis Brown went viral. He signed to Atlantic Records in 2015, releasing the EPs Bad for Me and Open Hands & Enemies, followed by his debut album Stay Awake with Me (2018). His second album, The Willow Tree (2023), marked a more personal chapter in his songwriting. Having toured internationally with artists including Birdy, Kaleo and Blanco White, Owen continues to evolve. His forthcoming 2026 album Neptune, written and recorded in his home studio, highlights his independent spirit and honest, emotionally driven style, with a UK tour set to follow.
