Danny Jonokuchi is a multi-talented jazz artist based in New York City. As a trumpeter, composer, arranger, producer, vocalist, and educator, few artists are as diversely involved in their craft. You can hear his original compositions and “world-class arrangements” (Broadway World) in renowned venues and hear him perform at esteemed jazz spots like Birdland Jazz Club, The Blue Note NYC, & Dizzy’s Club. Danny has performed on two Grammy award-winning projects, and in 2020, he was unanimously named winner of the inaugural Count Basie Great American Swing Contest by a panel of noteworthy judges. He currently lives in New York City where he leads two of his own projects: The Danny Jonokuchi Big Band, and Danny Jonokuchi & The Revisionists.
