Dave Eggar is a Harvard and Julliard School of Music graduate. Since his debut solo piano album release "Serenity," he has performed worldwide as a solo cellist and pianist. Dave has recorded and performed with artists in numerous genres including Evanescence, The Who, Michael Brecker, Josh Groban, Coldplay, Beyoncé, Pearl Jam, Fall Out Boy, Dave Sanborn, Kathleen Battle, Ray LaMontagne, Roberta Flack, The Spin Doctors, Dianne Reeves, Brandy, Carly Simon, Phil Ramone, Hannah Montana, Duncan Sheik, Sinéad O'Connor, Bon Jovi, The Manhattan Transfer, Corinne Bailey Ray. Dave's list of awards and accomplishments includes accolades from Time Magazine, ASCAP, the National Endowment for the Arts, Sony Records Elevated Standards Award in classical music, the Geraldine Dodge & Leonard Bernstein Foundations, and at 15 was the youngest winner in the history of the Artists International Competition.
He is a classically trained cellist, pianist, and composer known for his solo instrumental work that blends classical, new age, and ambient styles, as heard on his debut album "Serenity."
Dave Eggar has collaborated as a cellist and string arranger with a diverse range of artists including Coldplay, Beyoncé, Evanescence, The Who, and Pearl Jam.
