David Moa

Hey, I really just wanted to use this space to talk to you directly and take the time to explain a little bit more about my path, too. So, in 2018, I made the choice to step away from the usual path and left college to explore the world. One of the defining moments for me was walking the Camino de Santiago. I brought my ukulele with me, and it became a way for me to connect deeper with the experience and express myself. That’s when I realized I had to make time for music in my life. That’s how Keyru came to be, and we released our debut EP, Everything is a Quiet Quest, in 2021. Later on, I spent some time in a remote cabin in Quebec, where I dug deeper into my sound, influenced by the solitude and the nature around me. Now, I’m getting ready to put out my first solo project soon as David Moa, a collection of songs that really capture those moments and offer something true to who I am.
