Queer καλλιτέχνης house
Ciara, better known as DJ-CK, is a Cork native who has been making her mark in London for the past four years. Now firmly rooted in East London’s music scene, she is a resident at the Queen Adelaide and a key member of the Tea Break collective. She is also the founder and host of trans~late, a party dedicated to showcasing both established and emerging trans DJs, creating an inclusive platform for artists at all stages of their careers. Her growing reputation has seen her play across London’s queer circuit, including Riposte, Dalston Superstore, Joyride Rave at Corsica Studios, and closing duties at Dolls vs Twinks. Further afield, she has delivered a standout set at Queens Yard Summer Party, appeared at Providencia as part of the Foxgluv takeover during Electric Picnic 2024, and played Celebration of Life in Antwerp. She has supported artists such as Moxie, Hannah Holland, Julie Desire, Spray, and LSDXOXO, earning recognition for her versatility and high-energy sets. In 2026, she released her debut track Mornings With You, marking a new chapter in her evolving sound. Alongside her club work, DJ-CK holds a residency at Voices Radio, where she platforms Irish and queer talent. Her sound has developed from hardgroove-adjacent techno into a vibrant blend of bouncy house, progressive house, 90s-inspired grooves, old-school trance, and UKG, rooted in both her Cork upbringing and deep connection to the queer dance floor.
