DJ X-Plosiv

DJ X-Plosiv has been behind the decks since 1989 and is a true veteran of the Basel trance scene. A passionate trance DJ from the genre’s early days, he made a strong comeback after a long break — quickly reconnecting with seasoned ravers and a new generation of trance lovers. Over the years, DJ X-Plosiv held residencies at legendary clubs like Utopia, Tower/Bell, Galeria, Place, and with promoters such as BFT Music and Friends of Trance. He’s played countless iconic venues including Stahlwerk, Borderline, Online, Alte Kaserne, Sektor11, Stufenbau (Gate One), Black Out (Crete), Lounge & Gallery Zug, Diva, Kupferschmiede, Arena, Sommercasino, and more. He’s also appeared at major raves and open airs like Nautilus, Watergate 4 (Munich), Hyper Space 1 & 2, Future Dreams, plus parades such as Street Parade (1998–2002), Union Move Munich, Frick Parade, and the Radio 105 Mainstage. Many fans know him from his long-running trance radio show TranceXpress on Radio X, where he served as host and DJ. Since November 2022, he’s part of the presenter team at Elektrobeats, TranceXpress’ successor. Once a month, he curates and hosts a trance show with guest DJs. DJ X-Plosiv has released tracks on labels like Think Trance, TSOE, Faro, Euromas Rec., mas Rec., MBros Rec., and a mix CD on TBA Rec. His latest track, "Cosmo Force", dropped on March 28, 2025.
