Don Plok is a producer, DJ and percussionist from the southern outskirts of Buenos Aires who builds ritual latin bass music: heavy percussion, deep basslines and psychedelic textures where cumbia, Afro-Latin drum traditions and global club rhythms collide. Live, he plays electronic percussion in real time, moving between ancestral drums and hard-hitting club beats. Founder of Guateque Soundz (2010) and Dunumba Soundsystem (2018), he is a key figure in Buenos Aires' alternative scene — nearly two decades deep in Argentina's underground.
