Born out of the New York City bluegrass scene, Down North is a progressive bluegrass trio thats brings both the energy of traditional bluegrass and their original sounds. Comprised of Tom Gause (Fiddle), Sam Chester (banjo), and Landon Trust (guitar), the group first began playing together at Mona’s Monday Bluegrass’s session and around the Jalopy Theatre jams before forming several residencies performing regularly at local bars and small venues.
