Dark songs, either brutal or tortured, twisted between groove metal and metalcore. In this tangle of sensitive mélodies and sharp riffs rises a voice changing from bewitching clean vocals to tormented screams, while the lyrics are deeply human and introspective. Mostly inspired by modern metal bands (Jinjer, Infected Rain, Spiritbox) and Japenese "visual kei" metal (Dir en Grey, D'espairsRay, MUCC), DVM SPERO continuously explores the balance between melody and brutality, beauty and violence, shadow and light. With its first EP Eternal dawn, DVM SPERO portrays our endless inner sufferings, the ones fed by the psychological torments we bury deep inside and the fractions of hope we hold on to.
