Dylan McKenzie has spent the past 13 years as principal songwriter to LA indie outfit, Derde Verde. The band embarked on diverse sound explorations, creating dynamic recordings that ranged from a high-energy rock quintet, to an ensemble accompanied by cinematic strings, illuminating timeless songwriting culminating in their 2019 album Slow Light. Now, Mckenzie has ventured off to create "Shell" – an EP of new solo songs and instrumentals.
