Ebba Åsman

Singer-songwriter and jazz trombonist Ebba Åsman is a unique talent and a rising star. A former student of the Södra Latin school in Stockholm and Rotterdam Conservatory of Music, Swedish-born Ebba wrote and recorded her first album at 18. After she broke free of formal education to carve her own musical path, her second album was nominated in the Best Jazz category at the 2024 Swedish Grammys. Always pushing against constraints and categories, to write her latest album Ebba retreated to a in a cabin in the Swedish woods. The result – ‘When You Know’ – crystalizes her many gifts into a mesmerising work of modern soul, as Ebba layers her own keening vocals over digital beats and the rich tones of her signature black trombone. On Dorado Records ‘When You Know’ has found its perfect home, and the influential London label will release Ebba’s haunting, melancholy masterpiece in March 2025.
