ECOTAGE from Finland was formed in 2022. The band’s goal was clear from the start: to play heavy music with a vegan message. Their lyrics deal with animal rights and environmental issues, and the sound is heavily influenced by the late ’90s vegan hardcore and metalcore of Europe and the US. Their debut EP “Devastation” was released by Knives Out Records (FR) in June 2024. The second EP ”Redemption” is being released in May 2026 by Genet (BE), Bound By Modern Age (DE), Bitter Melody (US), X Life Sentence X (US), and Unvanquished x Strange Horizon (FI).
