Elder Devil originally formed as a DIY studio project between Jacob Lee (Hellish Form, PlasticBag FaceMask and Stephen Muir (Cabin Fire) in the fall of 2016. They released their first EP Graves Among the Roots (Medusa Crush) in 2017 and their full length The Light Dimmed Eternal (Crown and Throne Ltd./Roman Numeral) in 2019. Shortly after, Elder Devil began playing shows as a full band with Ryan Urquidez (dontcryformeimalreadydead, Cabin Fire) on bass and Pete Ruacho (Amenthes, Nani SS) on drums. With a handful of EPs and a 2019 full-length, the band’s latest chapter is an uneasy rumination on grief. ELDER DEVIL has released their sophomore album, Everything Worth Loving, via Prosthetic Records. Alongside the album release, the grindcore group also recently announced a July US tour dates in support of Everything Worth Loving.
