Elif Sanchez is a Turkish vocalist, composer, and arranger based in Madrid whose work bridges jazz, Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, and Latin American musical traditions. A graduate of Berklee College of Music and Istanbul University State Conservatory, she combines classical training with jazz performance practice, developing a distinctive artistic voice rooted in composition, improvisation, and cross-cultural collaboration. She has performed internationally at major festivals, concert halls, and cultural institutions across Europe, the Americas, and the Middle East, and has collaborated with artists including David Liebman, Terence Blanchard, Jacob Collier, Tigran Hamasyan, Alfredo Rodríguez, Aynur Doğan, and Kenan Doğulu. Her debut album Elif Sanchez introduced her fusion of Turkish folk traditions, classical foundation, and jazz. She followed with Mi Voz, produced by Grammy Award-winning producer Javier Limón, expanding her international reach and multilingual artistic identity. Her recent works include Stages of Love, featuring original compositions in Turkish, English, and Spanish, and Así pues…, featuring collaborations with Guinga, Antonio Serrano, Dimitris Bakoulis, Cenk Erdoğan, and Ismail Lumanovski, blending musical traditions from Türkiye, Brazil, Spain, and Greece. Elif continues to perform internationally and develop projects that connect diverse musical traditions through a contemporary, global artistic vision.
