Eremit is a mythic doom formation from Osnabrück, Germany. Combining elements of doom and sludge, Eremit can be counted as one of the heaviest extreme metal bands from Europe. Well known for their grand lore and world building Eremit are telling one continuous story throughout all their releases. Each song represents a chapter in a book they are simultaneously self-releasing. With their 2024 EP release "Rise of the Ruan~angh" Eremit continue their exploration of sound and lore and are weaving in Saxophone, Kettle Drums, and Trumpet into their mythologically driven extreme metal storytelling.
