Ντόπιο, underground σχήμα hardcore punk
Evil Engines emerged in 2013, born from the shared spirit of Lindley McKellar and Brad Walker, who transformed their influences into a unique blend of punk rock. With Lindley’s vocals and guitar, Brad’s bass and vocals, and the later addition of drummer Brian Whitfield, the trio’s chemistry fueled them as they embarked on multiple tours. Their 2017 self-titled debut album on Blahll! Records introduced raw tracks like ‘Drug City’ and ‘I Can’t Call It,’ epitomizing punk’s raw intensity. In 2022, Evil Engines returned with the single ‘Straight to My Soul,’ furthering their evolution into new territory such as post punk while maintaining their initial fervor. The EP ‘Into the Light’ further expounded on the progression of the band. From influences such as Iggy Pop, Ramones, the Cure, and Roky Erickson, their sound draws from a diverse spectrum. In 2024 longtime friend Jarad Wilson joined after Brian’s departure. Wilson’s raw talent and passion elevated their sound even further. Live, Evil Engines deliver a rock spectacle, defying expectations with a rush that captivates audiences. Their sound mirrors the timeless essence of rock & roll.
